For $30, you can get the framed print, the digital photos from your photo session emailed to you, a $20 Shutterfly gift card and a Petco Foundations 2015 calendar that includes 9 pages of Petco coupons. For those not familiar with Shutterfly it allows a person to take their digital photos and make gifts like calendars, mugs, magnets, photo books, etc.
Santa and his helpers (Park Pals volunteers) look forward to meeting you at the photo event. See you at Petco, 31419 Pacific Highway South!
We had a very successful fundraising day at Mud Bay on Saturday! Lots of people stopped by to purchase calendars and/or get a photo taken of their best friend. The cover calendar dog, Tristan, stopped by with his human as did a number of present and former calendar contestants or their owners.
It was fun to see the various dogs, big and small, dressed for Halloween. Some just wore a scarf and a big smile! Some owners got in the photos too.
A special thank you to the staff at Mud Bay for hosting the event and providing refreshments for guests, canine and human!
Pictured below are some of guests and the volunteers who helped make this event possible. The witch is our photographer and she did some magical things with her camera. We really appreciated the help of our photo editor and printer, Ken, who came down from Darrington to help.
We’ll be selling the calendars at Mud Bay at our photo event on Saturday, October 25, from noon till 4 p.m. Come on by to get your calendar(s) for just $15 each. Get a photo taken for $10 while you’re there! All proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the off-leash park.
The calendars will be available at other Federal Way business locations. We’ll post the locations at the park later.
(Mud Bay is located near Trader Joe’s in the mall across from the Commons.)
